Most heavy items do not fail on weight, they fail on the turn at the top of the stairs. Measuring the route, taking a door off its hinges and protecting the floor is what makes the difference between a move and a repair job.

What gets protected
Door casings, stair treads, corners and floors are protected before anything moves. Most of the damage that happens during a heavy move is not to the item, it is to the house on the way through, and it is entirely avoidable with fifteen minutes of preparation.
If something genuinely will not go, you will hear that before it is wedged in a stairwell rather than after. A measurement and a straight answer are cheaper than a repair.

Send photos and a short description by text and a price comes back within 24 hours, with no appointment and no scheduling window burned on a job that takes an afternoon. The number you approve is the number on the invoice, which means the risk of anything unexpected behind the wall sits with the contractor rather than with you.
If several small jobs have been building up, send them all in one message. They come back itemized service by service, so you can take all of it or part of it, and doing them in one visit costs less than doing them across three.

Heavy Lifting is available across the twelve communities OnCall serves: Fishers and Geist, Noblesville, the Morse Reservoir area and Cicero, Westfield, Carmel, Zionsville, McCordsville, Brownsburg, Greenwood and Indianapolis itself. The radius is set by drive time rather than by a county line, so if your town is not on that list it is worth asking rather than assuming.
OnCall runs four categories and turns down anything outside them. No car chargers, no full kitchen remodels, no pools. That is a deliberate decision about margin and risk, and it is the reason the work inside those four categories is good. There is a vendor list for the rest, offered once you have a reason to trust the recommendation.
