Pergolasdone properly.
Built to measure cedar pergolas, sized to the span rather than stretched from a kit.

OnCall builds wood pergolas designed to the space, sized to the posts and span the site actually needs. Kit installation is separate and is priced flat.
Built, not stretched
A pergola built to measure is sized to its span. A kit stretched over a span it was not engineered for sags, and it sags in the middle where everybody looks. Both are legitimate; they are just different products.
Shade is a design decision
Rafter spacing, orientation and depth decide how much shade you actually get and at what time of day. That is worth ten minutes at the walkthrough rather than a shrug in August.
Posts, spans and what the wind does
Post size and beam span are engineering rather than taste. A pergola is a large sail on four legs, and central Indiana produces the wind to prove it, which is why footing depth and post connection get specified rather than assumed.
Whether it is freestanding or attached changes everything about how it is built. Attached structures need the same flashing discipline as a deck ledger, because the connection to the house is the place water will try hardest to get in.
How pergolas gets quoted
Pergolas is measured on site. Grade, access, existing conditions and the things behind the walls all change the number, and none of them are visible in a photograph. Cory walks the space, works through the design decisions with you, takes the dimensions and sends a detailed written bid rather than a range.
Follow up runs on a schedule so nothing sits: twenty-four hours, seventy-two hours, then one week. A signature and a deposit put the work on the calendar. If something is found once a wall or the ground is open, it is priced and agreed before it is built rather than appearing at the end.
Where OnCall does this work
Pergolas is available across the twelve communities OnCall serves: Fishers and Geist, Noblesville, the Morse Reservoir area and Cicero, Westfield, Carmel, Zionsville, McCordsville, Brownsburg, Greenwood and Indianapolis itself. The radius is set by drive time rather than by a county line, so if your town is not on that list it is worth asking rather than assuming.
OnCall runs four categories and turns down anything outside them. No car chargers, no full kitchen remodels, no pools. That is a deliberate decision about margin and risk, and it is the reason the work inside those four categories is good. There is a vendor list for the rest, offered once you have a reason to trust the recommendation.
Questions we get asked
Can it be attached to the house?
Yes, and attached structures need the same flashing discipline as a deck ledger.
Can you add lights and a fan?
Yes, planned in with the framing rather than added after.
Need pergolas?Send it over.
Photos and a short description are usually enough to get a real number back.
